Welcome to paradise! Casa Tortuga is a beautiful recently completed (December 2006) 3 bedroom 2 ½ bath 1900 square foot (175m2) tropical home. This house is part of a 4-house complex on 4 acres (1.6m hectares) with 100 yards of beachfront in Playa Santa Teresa, Puntarenas, Costa Rica, located at the southern tip of the Nicoya peninsula. Casa Tortuga sits on one of the ½ acre (2000 m2) back lots, where it enjoys wonderful privacy, garden views, a small pool for you to refresh and is a short two minute (100 meters) walk to the white sand beaches and quality surf that make Santa Teresa such a wonderful place. We are also about ½ mile (1km) south of the world famous Flor Blanca Hotel and resort and roughly one mile (1.3km) north of the town center of Santa Teresa. The layout of the house is simple, comfortable and reflects the casual essence of Costa Rican living. The breezy open social side of the house offers a large kitchen, living room and terrace areas all under cana brava (local bamboo). The well-equipped kitchen comes with a new 18 cubic ft. refrigerator, 4 burner gas stove with oven, and a nice variety of the kitchen utensils and accessories to cook, prepare your favorite fresh fruit smoothies, or a simply enjoy a Costa Rican coffee. Adjacent to the social area is the first floor master bedroom, which offers a king bed, A/C, ample closet space, a private balcony and a large private bathroom. There is another ½ bath, entrance way and closets downstairs, with a staircase leading to the second floor. Upstairs there is another large bedroom, a TV room with a full size sofa bed, and bathroom The upstairs suite offers two single beds and spectacular views from the two sets of double sliding glass doors, a small balcony faces the ocean from the first, and the other slider boasts a beautiful mountain view. There is also A/C and ample closet space. The TV room has a 21" color TV with Direct TV and a full size sofa bed. All bedrooms and living areas are well equipped with ceiling fans, and tastefully decorated with tropical hardwood furniture. Private parking for 2 vehicles, utilities, and maid service are all included. Come, relax, and enjoy the beach, the picturesque sunsets, and all the natural beauty that makes Santa Teresa a truly amazing place. Please, no smoking inside the house.
