It's a 2-minute walk through a shaded tropical pathway that opens onto one of the most pristine beaches of Costa Rica. There are miles of beautiful white sand beaches for you to explore, World Class Surfing, and breathtaking sunsets. With an open floor plan and tall ceilings made of native hardwoods, this romantic house boasts an exquisite tiled shower open to the sky and big enough for two, with a hand painted sink crafted by a local artisan. The galley kitchen is equipped with a stove, fridge, coffeemaker, blender, and toaster so you can prepare your own meals or just enjoy a snack. The home is decorated in Asian-Costa Rican fusion and furnished with a daybed/couch & a locally custom made beautiful queen canopy bed where you can relax, read & dream. Other touches include a Balinese chair, and a hand made screen of local palms & bamboo, which allows you to break up the space and to enjoy privacy along with other exotic touches. This house has beautiful wooden doors spanning the front, opening wide onto a deck with a hammock and chairs to invite the outside in. Artistic ironwork by local artist Kurt…… adds to the ambience and provides you security during the sultry nights while you sleep with the sounds & smells of nature, the house is also air-conditioned for those who need a cooling moment in the equatorial climate of Costa Rica. The property is landscaped with Ginger, Heliconia, Mangos, bananas, Coconut palms, Amapola, an Almond tree, and other flowering delights. Paths cut through the foliage & a rock creek directs the water through the property like a stream when it rains. There is a parking area inside the gated front and rock sculpture on the property. Located in the community of Santa Teresa are some of the best restaurants in the area with chefs from all over the world living in this little Surf paradise. Choose from Italian, Sushi, Thai, Mexican, Brazilian, French, Fusion and an assortment of local Tico fare, all available within walking distance. Bikes, quads, cars and taxis are available for rental in Santa Teresa along with tourist assistance right next door. Our property managers will help you settle in and complimentary maid service is supplied once a week with laundry service available for a nominal fee.
