Hotel Luz de Mono is located in the heart of the Seaside Village of Montezuma, Costa Rica.
Luz de Mono offers 12 standard rooms, all of which have views out to the property's lovely tropical gardens. Each standard room comes equipped with a queen-size bed, private bathroom with hot water, a mini refrigerator and a fan. Perfect vacation accommodations for families and friends who require complete privacy and a jungle like atmosphere.
The hotel also offers six Casitas most with beautiful views of the ocean, a terrace and a Jacuzzi. Each unit is equipped with a private bathroom with hot water, a fan and a kitchen. Each Casita can sleep up to 4 people.
With the lush tropical garden surrounding the hotel and its casitas, guests can truly feel like they are living in nature.
The first foreign settlers here in this region, the Ingalls family, planted several species of endangered trees, and other tropical plants on the Luz de Mono property which have now, after 40 years, grown into a mature jungle habitat, creating a magical feeling for both guests and animals.
Next to the hotel property lies a reserve of 300 hectares of primary forest where the wildlife and fauna are able to exist in a protected environment. And naturally, the Luz de Mono property acts as a monkey corridor. Expect to see white faced cappuchin monkies and an occasional howler.
