Detailed Description of Property:
The hotels rooms are placed on multi-levels throughout the hotel grounds, dispersed within the lush tropical gardens in three separate buildings.
Moana Lodge has a total of seven rooms, 4 deluxe and 3 standards, all of which come with private balcony.
Deluxe Rooms
By employing the simple two tone colours of a Zebra pattern, the onwers were able to create a stylish and striking look affording a distinctive individuality to their rooms.
They went to great effort to decorate the rooms with long black draping curtains and authentic African wall hangings such as South African Zulu shields, wonderful tribal masks and stunning faux Zebra hides, which are hung on white washed wooden colonial style walls enhancing the hotels African appeal.
For the beds look they researched many different types and styles of colonial and tropical designs which would complement the rooms African theme. Eventually they selected elements from several different bed types to give the lodge its own unique design.
The room’s large bathroom has a walk-in shower, Indonesian stone bowl basin, and a beautiful surface top hand carved from native Pochote wood.
All deluxe rooms contain one queen and one single bed.
Standard Rooms
For the standard rooms the owners decided to blend the African theme with tropical inspirations thus continuing the African trend but giving a distinctive individuality, which is evident in each room.
These rooms have been furnished with beautiful wooden floors, white washed colonial style wooden walls, and also wonderful African wall hangings and masks.
The standard rooms are a little simpler than the deluxe rooms in terms of extras but they’re still fitted to providing a high standard of comfort.
Two of the three standard rooms contain a queen and single bed and one room with just a queen bed.
